LET THE QUESTIONS BEGIN
1.) When was the first time you ever swore or said something profane?
I was pretty young actually. I don't quite remember how long ago it was, but I had overheard this bad word at school and I wanted to know what it meant. When the kid I overheard said it, he made sure none of the staff could hear him. I didn't want to get in any trouble so I waited to until I got home and asked my parents. Didn't end well...
2.) Have you ever had unrequited feelings for someone?/Have you ever been friendzoned?
Just before I graduated from my last year of basic education, I was attracted to this guy and this [person of third gender]. They never knew about it and they hated each other anyways so it probably never would've worked well. Probably the only way they knew me at all was as "that alien girl".
3.) What's a false assumption a lot of people have about you?
I think there is a fairly common misconception that scientists like me know everything about everything. People just try to assume we know everything that our race has learned over the centuries. Heh, I think there's plenty of other dimensions even that think the same thing. Personally, I don't know too much outside of trans-dimensional theory and application.
4.) Have you ever questioned your sexuality?
Wait, what!? No!
5.) If you could bring one person back from the dead, who would it be and why?
Just one person? I don't know. In a lot of other dimensions its actually pretty easy to bring people back to life. Ha, in some it looks like a trivial task actually! I suppose if I had to choose one person though...my aunt. On my mother's side. She would stop by every now and then, make sure my parents didn't work themselves to death already and to see if they remembered I existed. Just kidding, they loved me. She did too. She was the fun one of the group. I wish she was still around to make sure I didn't work myself to death either.
6.) What did you do on December 12th last year?
What? I've never heard of that. I don't think I've even been on that many ships last year. Hmm.... Oh it's a date! Well, I don't know if our universe even has any planets like yours so who knows how long ago that was! Haha.
7.) When was the last time you truthfully told someone you hated them?
I kind of had a rival while training for military service. He'd always beat me good when we sparred. He loved showing off. Whenever I said I hated him it was off hand, but I meant it. I'm not going to say his name because he actually outranks me a bit right now, ha.
8.) What is your opinion on this song? What about this song?
Song 1: Um...I'm not exactly sure what all of that meant, but the parts I did understand were...concerning. Why would someone make a song about this?
Song 2: That was much better. I think the message of a song is important if it has one. This song was trying to teach a lesson about letting go of life's troubles. At least I think so. I feel like this was a much better song, if for that reason alone.
9.) In less than four sentences, describe the entire plot of the last book you read.
A little girl discovers that her world is quickly coming to an end because of some strange, unknown force. It turns out, she has amazing powers that might be able to stop the chaos. A scientist helps her develop her abilities before it's too late and they save the world. Then they go together and ate fish or something.
10.) Describe the appearance of the most untrustworthy person you can think of (they can be a person you've met or a made up person). Are they male or female or neither? What about their appearance makes them untrustworthy?
Well, I would have a bit more trouble trusting someone with no gender. I grew up around three genders so someone who didn't have one would just be...different. They'd probably be so different from me culturally, even biologically, that I wouldn't know what to expect. Sometimes I feel that people who are short or small would have more to gain from being sneaky. I guess they couldn't get what they want through fighting or something. Uh, I suppose having too many eyes? I don't know why, I just don't think I'd like that.
11.) What is the most cringeworthy thing you've ever seen?
Cringeworthy? Ah, I know. I have this friend, Alium, he's a Sentinel. When we were young we used to go to school together. Sentinels are much taller than Quaestum so even at his age he was about the height of all the teachers. One time he wanted to go up this ladder that was put too high for most of the kids to even reach. It lead to the roof. I could jump high enough to grab on and I'd just go to sort my thoughts. Eventually, Alium wanted to join me. He was tall enough sure, but Quaestum are not only shorter than Sentinels but also, thinner. He almost immediately lost his grip and fell. That wouldn't have been bad on its own. Funny even. What made it bad was the fact that he...kept trying. I think he just wanted to make a point at the end. He never did make it up that ladder.
12.) What is your biggest regret?
Not keeping my body healthy enough. Recently I got myself into the Quaestum military and even the basic fitness routines are death to my limbs!
13.) Do you have any cousins? When was the last time you saw them?
Not that I know of. I never really had any family members my age while growing up.
14.) Describe the worst birthday you've ever had.
During my eighth birthday I was really sick so I couldn't celebrate. My friends and family all visited the hospital though. Even if it wasn't the best birthday, I suppose it was still good. We had a real party once I got better.
15.) When was the last time someone provoked you to the point of violence?
That one person I didn't like during training...On several occasions he kind of got me to the point where I tried to be a bit more fierce than I guess I had to.
16.) OH NOES!!!! Someone has gotten you to drink a truth potion and now you have to truthfully answer every question you are asked!!! What's the worst possible question someone could ask you?
Well, it's so bad that I'd rather not even say the question.
17.) Describe, in detail, your first serious relationship. Describe how it ended.
I haven't been in any relationships you could call "serious".
18.) Introduce your best friend. Tell the story of how you met.
This is Alium. He's a Sentinel who used to go to school with me. Now he works as a civil task-force organizer on Sentenius Prime. We met shortly after I got into school. The other kids didn't take well to how different I was. No one had ever even seen my race before. Some of the other kids were a bit, brutal, with their word choice. It didn't take long for Alium to find me. He had been there a year longer than me and even though he was the only Sentinel, he didn't care. He loved being the odd one out. It took some doing but I eventually grew to feel the same way too.
19.) To the introduced friend, has our interviewee lied in any of these questions? Are you surprised by any of these answers?
Well that bit about the ladder, TOTALLY never happened! Maybe it did. I was kind of surprised about who she considers untrustworthy though. That sounds a bit like Myriads.
20.) To finish up, what is your biggest irrational fear and how did you get it?
I don't know how I got it but I do have a fear of really loud metallic noises. Kind of like the sound of a wall busting, but louder. Again, no idea why.

The Last Bastion: Act 1 Chapter 1 Part 1
“Mom, I want to be a commander in the navy one day!” said a very determined and energetic young girl by the name of Grace C. Nimitz.
“Now, now sweetheart, we’ve discussed this. The navy is just useless. There’s nowhere to explore, and nowhere to travel. There are no enemies left.”, her mother reminded her.
“What about Earth? We needa find that, right? Isn’t humanity’s future on Earth?” Grace said in rhetort.
“Earth?,” Grace’s mother laughed gently, let out a faint sigh, and added, “You know there’s no such thing as Earth. It’s just a fairy tale.

Field Trip
Stella had never been on a field trip before. Nothing fun like that ever happened at P.S. 103. Most days Stella’s school tablet sat untouched on her desk as she stared out the window, watching the usual red dust tumble over the horizon. But as she walked into class, she noticed a strange lady standing where Ms. Juno was supposed to be. This lady had a tight smile and looked funny. Not ugly or anything. Just too fancy for a Martian school in the boonies. More like a Starship Lady.
Somewhere, out there, the Starship Colonies are living it up, her mother would say during dinner. Once they find a patch of heaven, they’ll sett

My biological mother’s name is Anna and my father is Peter. They met in high school when she was sixteen. He was her first kiss, I think. I’m not sure if she was his. At the time of my conception, they had known each other for two years. I don’t know why he was home from college in the middle of a semester, but I imagine that my mother was the light in the dark depths of February, I imagine it had something to do with her her thick curls, her hazel eyes, her tender mouth shaped just like mine, here. I imagine it was her laugh that he loved the most.
My mother did not laugh when I came into this world and into her hands. Sh

This took quite a bit longer than it should've. I found this little gem by and decided I'd try it for Angel. The links to the songs in question 8 can be found in the original post: coolguysevensevensev.deviantar… Personally, I wouldn't recommend the first song due to lyric content. Anyways, I feel this helped me develop Angel and I'll be doing things like this for my other characters as well somewhere down the line.

This is a really cool meme. I'm really interested in this universe you've managed to create, and the little glimpses you give us here are very interesting. Also, "then they go eat fish together or something" made me laugh louder than I'd like to admit. Nice job my dude!
